Farnley Festival

Farnley Festival will be held on Saturday 17th May 2025 in the area behind and to the side of Field just off Field Lane. There will be a number of events and activities for all the family including:

• Village Games - teams from local surrounding villages taking part in various sporting activities such as welly throwing, turnip shot put, tug of war etc., all competing for the George Sawyer Cup*. Teams would consist of 6-8 people with min 2 men, 2 ladies, 2 youngsters.

• Stalls for local businesses and organisations showcasing the best of local produce and wares.

• Food vendors offering a range of food - this would include ‘Field’.

• Live music throughout the day with local school choir, brass band, local singers etc and in the evening 2-3 live bands culminating in a festival style event.

• Drink - the bar will be open at FT Bowling Club and Field with a wide range of drinks on offer.

• Kids' Zone - this will include inflatables and games.

Parking will be available off Farnley Road in one of the fields to minimise disruption in the village.
